211 polyurethane coating has been time-tested and field-proven with more than 125 million sq. ft. of surfaces coated!
Tri-Chem's 211 is an aliphatic polyester polyurethane that was developed using groundbreaking, cross-linking chemistry with no harmful solvents. It is virtually odorless and suitable for any vertical or horizontal surface. 211 has inherent chemical resistant, anti-graffiti, and moisture barrier properties. It is sustainable and green, UV-resistant, and easy to maintain.
211 can be used on a variety of substrates including, but not limited to: VCT, tile and grout, terrazzo, wood, metal, concrete, dry wall, fiberglass, rubber, foam, epoxy, and previously painted surfaces. As a result, this coating has superior performance to solvent-based urethanes. It is cost competitive and in most cases significantly reduces overall costs.
211 has an exceptional bond to a variety of substrates.

Areas of Use
The versatility of 211 allows for the coating to be used in all types of industries.
Exceptional Bonding Capabilities – No primers needed; direct to most surfaces
Types of Surfaces – Concrete, stained concrete, carbon steel, aluminum, galvanized metal, stainless steel, fiberglass, wood, clay/masonry surfaces, stone, hardwood, terrazzo, VCT, vinyl sheeting, ceramic and other tile and grout surfaces with Adhesion Bond addition
Interior/Exterior Use – Allows to be used while building is in operation
Very Repairable – Small sections can be repaired without redoing the entire section
Significant Cost Savings – Less coats, no primer needed, labor reduction, longer lasting
Vertical and Horizontal Surfaces – Brush, roll, or spray application
Low to Zero VOCs – VOCs are less than 15 grams/liter
Virtually Odorless – Does not require special breathing apparatus
Produced in Total Water – Does not use solvents
No Proposition 65 Chemicals – These cause cancer and birth defects
Meets US Building Councils’ LEED Criteria – Under EQ 4.2 for low-emitting coatings
Super Compliant Coating – On California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District “Super Compliant” list
ENERGY STAR Qualifies & Cool Roof Rated – Tested for 3 years at 3 different weather farms
Permeability – Water barrier not vapor barrier
Ultraviolet Insensitivity – UV protection in both color and clear
Impact Resistance – Can be hit with a ballpein hammer without cracking, chipping, or adhesion loss
Abrasion Resistance – Less than 30mg loss on 1,000 cycles
Increased Co-Efficient of Friction – Certified by the NFSI as high traction with a wet co-efficient of friction rating > 0.60
Provides Anti-Graffiti Properties – Paint and markers can be removed without damaging coating
Inherent Dry Erase Characteristics – Turn surfaces into dry erase boards
