Aqua Wet, the chemical additive to make water "wetter" actually lowers the surface tension of water to make the water more effective because of its spreadability. Untreated sprinkling water puddles and balls up, creating runoffs and gullies. Water can be sprayed farther with valves open full; fewer waterings are required with more permanent results.
